The College Union of MGM MUTHOOT COLLEGE OF NURSING is the official student body elected by students to represent their interests and coordinate activities on campus. It acts as the bridge between the student community and the college administration.
Aim
The primary aim of a College Union is to foster overall student
development and create a vibrant, inclusive campus life where
students can learn, lead, and express themselves beyond academics.
Key Activities
- Cultural Events: College Day, Arts Fest, Inter-collegiate Fests, Talent Hunt, Onam and Christmas Celebrations.
- Academic Programs: Debates, quizzes, paper presentations, invited lectures, and career orientation sessions.
- Sports & Games: Annual sports meet, intramural tournaments, and fitness drives.
- Social Initiatives: Blood donation camps, NSS/NCC drives, environmental campaigns, and charity programs.
- Student Welfare: Freshers’ Day, Farewell Day, grievance redressal, and anti-ragging awareness programs.
- Magazine & Media: Publishing the annual college magazine, newsletters, and managing social media pages.
- Club Coordination: Supporting various clubs like Literary Club, Film Club, Nature Club, etc.
