Student Support and Guidance Programme (SSGP)

Student Support and Guidance Programme (SSGP)

KUHS's flagship program, the Student Support and Guidance Programme (SSGP), began on 08/07/2015 in all of the university's connected colleges with the goal of assisting students with their academic endeavors as well as their psychological and sociological well-being.
Our college's SSGP is dedicated to providing a supportive and nurturing environment for our students.

The program's key functions include:
1. Personalized Mentorship: A 1:10 teacher-student ratio ensures each student receives individual attention and guidance.
2. Happy Hour: Students gather on the last Friday of each month to relax, socialize and recharge.
3. Special Day Celebrations: We celebrate special days and milestones, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
4. Counseling Sessions: At important moments, such as the start of a course and before to university exams, our skilled counselors offer direction and assistance to students.
5. Targeted Guidance and Referrals: We identify students who need extra support and provide referrals to expert help when needed.
6. Parental Involvement: We keep parents informed and involved throughout the process, ensuring a collaborative approach to student support.
7. Club Activities: Our various Clubs offers a wide range of activities, promoting student engagement, creativity, and teamwork.

By providing these comprehensive support services, we empower our students to succeed academically, personally, and professionally.
